Hello everyone!
We leave TOMORROW! We are as ready as we are going to be, so here we go!
Because our main blog writer (Mary Beth) is unfamiliar with blogs, the team graciously allowed a switch- we will be sharing updates though Instagram. If you have an account, follow "IBCCostaRica2018", and if you do not, simply visit www.instagram.com/ibccostarica2018 to see our pictures and descriptions.
Sorry about the change, but I can promise that there will be many more pictures because of the change.

Thank you! (& Tentative Schedule)
The first thing that our team would like to share is THANK YOU! We have so many people who have partnered with us, and we consider it our honor to be sent by you.
Our team is preparing for our trip by creating a VBS program and learning Spanish, especially since our VBS will be orchestrated in Spanish and we do not have dedicated interpreters.
We have a general plan for our 10 days in Costa Rica but recognize that we might need to be flexible. Our goal in our trip is to support a local church, so besides the 3-day VBS program we will be completing several projects for the church. Some of these projects are very labor intensive and we want to leave completed projects!
We will be leaving DC July 25th, very early in the morning, so that allows us time when we get there to set up and advertise our VBS program! Then we will have our three days of VBS Thursday, Friday and Saturday, but we will also start work on our projects. Sunday, we are very excited to be able to worship our Lord alongside of the locals and spend our day of sabbath with them. Monday through Wednesday we hope to finish the projects so that Thursday we can have a team adventure day. Friday, August 3rd, we return to DC and to the evening commute!
Again, thank you to our friends, our families, and our supporters. We will update this blog once or twice more before July 25th, but then we hope to update daily as connection allows!
